İş Leasing is one of the first leasing companies founded as a result of enactment of the Financial Leasing Law in 1985. It is founded in Istanbul on 9 March 1988 through partnership of Türkiye İş Bank group with IFC, a World Bank institution, and with French Société Generale group. Bringing many innovative products such as leasing syndication, aircraft leasing finance and sell and lease back to the sector newly developing and emerging in 1990s, İş Leasing has assumed a pioneer role in development of leasing sector in our country.

In 1995, after acquiring all capital shares of its foreign partners, Türkiye İş Bank group has further speeded up the activities of İş Leasing. After going public in March 2000, 42% of İş Leasing capital shares are presently listed and traded in Borsa Istanbul with ISFIN code, while the remaining 57% of shares belong to Türkiye İş Bank group. Management control of İş Leasing is entirely in the hands of Türkiye İş Bank group. With its sustainable profitability performance, the Company continues to be a reliable investment choice for long-term savings of both small investors and institutional mutual funds.
